UTEK PVC espanso è un materiale di PVC rigido strutturale reticolato, come schiuma a celle strette, a base di polimero vinilico, modificato con il collegamento di tutte le aramidi. È il materiale chimico di composizione a base di PVC e pur. Si dice come nucleo di schiuma di PVC reticolato, nella pratica internazionale. Può essere utilizzato come materiale di nucleo nella struttura sandwich.
