GH4090 (GH90), also known as NImonic90
Overview
GH4090 is a deformed superalloy and is a Ni-Cr-Co-based precipitation hardening type. GH4090 can be used up to 920°C. At the temperature of 815-870, it has high tensile strength and creep resistance, good anti-yangization and corrosion resistance, and has a high degree of fatigue under the repeated alternating action of cold and heat. GH4090 has good processing and welding properties. It is suitable for making turbine disks, blades, high-temperature fasteners, clamps, sealing rings and elastic elements of aero-turbine engines.

Physical and chemical properties
1. Density g/cm³: 8.18
2. Melting temperature: 1310-1370ºC
Process performance and requirements
1. The alloy is prone to internal cracks during forging, allowing heavy hammer impact. The ingot loading temperature is not higher than 700ºC, the low temperature area is preheated for 20-30 minutes, the final heating temperature is 1150ºC-1180ºC, the opening forging temperature is not lower than 1050ºC, and the final forging temperature is not lower than 950ºC.
2. The grain size uniformity standard of the alloy is closely related to the deformation degree of the forging and the final forging temperature.
3. The alloy can be used for inert gas shielded tungsten arc welding and bright butt welding in the solid solution state.
